What is Ecko for Creators?
Ecko for Creators is an exclusive program that allows native speakers and qualified language experts to contribute original content to the Ecko platform. As a creator, you'll produce audio-first learning materials — podcasts, daily phrases, vocabulary breakdowns, and grammar lessons — complete with transcript alignment, word-level notes, and sentence explanations.
Creators set their own subscription pricing and earn directly from learners who choose to subscribe to their content. The program is intentionally limited in size to maintain high content quality and a valuable experience for both creators and learners.

Podcasts
Record audio lessons on topics you're passionate about, with full transcript alignment and word-level annotations.

Curate everyday expressions and conversational phrases with pronunciation, context, and usage notes.
Vocabulary Sets

Prerequisites
To be eligible for the Ecko for Creators program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency (C2) in the language you want to contribute content for.
- Access to a quiet recording environment and a decent-quality microphone for audio content.
- Ability to produce accurate transcripts, word-level annotations, and sentence-level explanations for your content.
- Commitment to publishing content regularly — at least 2 pieces of content per month.
- Agreement to and compliance with the Ecko Creator Terms & Code of Conduct (see below).
- Willingness to engage with learner feedback and continuously improve content quality.

Content Quality & Account Standing
Ecko is committed to providing learners with high-quality, accurate content. To maintain this standard:
- •All content is subject to community reporting. Learners can flag content for inaccuracy, poor quality, or policy violations.
- •If a creator receives a significant number of reports, their account will be placed under review.
- •During review, content may be temporarily hidden from the platform.
- •Repeated violations or failure to meet quality standards may result in account suspension or removal from the program.
- •Creators will be notified of any reports and given the opportunity to address issues before escalation.
Creator Terms & Code of Conduct
By participating in the Ecko for Creators program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of all content you create. By publishing on Ecko, you grant Ecko a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform. You may remove your content at any time, which will revoke this license for future use.
2. Content Standards
All content must be original, accurate, and suitable for language learners. Content must not contain hate speech, harassment, explicit material, misleading information, or any material that violates intellectual property rights. Ecko reserves the right to remove content that does not meet these standards.
3. Quality Commitment
Creators are expected to maintain a high standard of audio quality, linguistic accuracy, and pedagogical value. Transcripts must be accurate, annotations must be helpful, and content should be well-structured for the intended proficiency level.
4. Publishing Frequency
Creators must publish at least 2 pieces of content per month to remain active in the program. Extended periods of inactivity (more than 60 days without publishing) may result in account deactivation after notice.
5. Pricing & Payments
Creators set their own subscription prices within platform-defined bounds. Ecko collects payments from subscribers and distributes earnings to creators after deducting the platform fee. Payment schedules and fee structures are detailed in the Creator Payment Agreement provided upon acceptance.
6. Community Conduct
Creators must interact respectfully with learners and the Ecko community. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will result in immediate suspension. Creators should be open to constructive feedback and committed to improving their content.
7. Account Review & Termination
Ecko reserves the right to review any creator account at any time. Accounts that receive excessive reports, violate these terms, or fail to meet quality standards may be suspended or permanently removed. Creators will be notified and given a reasonable opportunity to respond before permanent removal.
8. Modifications
Ecko may update these Creator Terms from time to time. Creators will be notified of significant changes. Continued participation in the program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

What happens if I want to leave the program?
You can leave at any time. Your published content will remain available to existing subscribers for 30 days, after which it will be removed from the platform.
